Set in 1970’s Jamaica, “Kingston to Brixton” is a coming of age drama following a sheepish Dith as she tries to resolve her last night in Jamaica before moving to London, and a budding track-star Butta attempting to adjust to harsh realities of fatherhood. However, these young lovers are brought together by the magic of music, their lives forever changed. It’s a story of when dreams are robbed but love is born and is dedicated to the children born from parents who fell in love while dancing and singing to Bob Marley’s Kaya.
